Sunbeam

A quiet place for small hands on a Sunday morning.

Sunbeam is a coloring app about Jesus Christ, made for children aged two to six — the ones who cannot read yet, and should not have to.

Coming to the App Store

Two taps to color

Every word a child meets is spoken aloud. No reading, no menus to learn, no wrong answers. A three-year-old opens the app and is coloring.

Sacrament Meeting Mode

One switch in the grown-up area and all sound stops — piano, narration, chimes, every last chirp. Motion slows to a fade. It is not quieter; it is off.

Works with no signal

Everything a child needs ships inside the app. A chapel basement, a plane, a canyon road — it all works the same, because nothing a child needs is ever fetched.

Nothing to sign up for

No account is required, and nothing a child can tap costs money, opens a link, or leaves the app. Purchases and settings sit behind a grown-up gate.

Made from your own photos

A grown-up can turn one photo into a coloring page. It happens on your device with Apple's own image processing and is never uploaded anywhere.

No ads, no tracking, ever

No advertising, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no data sold or shared. Read the privacy policy — it is short and it is plain.

Why we made it

Handing a toddler a phone in sacrament meeting usually means handing them something loud, something that wants their attention back tomorrow, and something with an advertisement in it. We wanted the opposite: seventy quiet minutes, and a small child's first encounter with the Savior's life.

So Sunbeam has no timers, no scores, no streaks, no coins, and no leaderboards. There is nothing to win and nothing to come back for except the pages themselves.
